There are a lot of videos out there that are unclear what they’re asking you to do or why you should be interested in the content. There are also a lot of videos that are completely devoid of humour or emotion. We specialise in clarity and personality.
The first thing we’ll do with you is discuss your goals for the video project. Where are you now, where do you want to be, and how can video content help you get there?
The next thing we’ll do is help make the content of the video as clear and concise as possible – that means avoiding jargon, using visuals to support the script and cutting out anything that doesn’t support the objectives.
For example, instead of saying:
“High-quality learning environments are a necessary precondition for facilitation and enhancement of the ongoing learning process.”
We would say:
“Children need good schools if they are to learn properly.”
Once we’re clear what you goals are and what you want to communicate to who, we’ll help inject your personality into the video. A lot of corporate videos are just plain bland, and a lot of charity videos fail to make an emotional connection with the viewer. When they do, the emotion elicited it often guilt. We want to make people feel good about the action they take as a result of watching your video.
For example, in this fundraising video we created for a charity that runs Capoeira classes in Syrian refugee camps, we tried to inspire people to donate using a hopeful message rather than guilting them with a sad one.
